On 2 February 2010, a new dimension of The Network started when Wilfried Agricola de Cologne signed a contract for the first physical space provided by CC Alte Feuerwache, a cultural center in heart of the city of Cologne. The new group running the space is named “artvideoKOELN” the physical dependance of the famous online platform.

The new dimension will continue when on 6 May 2010, artvideoKOELN will launch “SFC - Shoah Film Collection” as the physical world premiere.

In cooperation with the local organisation CARPE DIEM,
CologneOFF realises the Videoart Festival at three locations

7 October 2009 - Centro de Arte de Maracaibo “Lía Bermúdez”
8 October 2009 - Theatro Baralt
5-15 November 2009 - MACZUL - Museum of Contemporary Art Maracaibo in the framework of 8th Salon de Arte Digital.

All three locations where the screenings and installations are held
are outstanding in their architecture –>

The “Centro de Arte de Maracaibo “Lía Bermúdez”" originates from the early 20th century and represented once the prominent building of Maracaibo’s market hall, while he Teatro Baralt an outstanding example of Art Deco architectur and the Museum MACZUL one of the famous new museum building complexes in South America are representing.

The festival program includes a selection of the international CologneOFF festival programs I-IV, VideoChannel features and a selection of videoart from Venezuela

The Videoart Festival Maracaibo is the result of a long collaboration between the CologneOFF director Wilfried Agricola de Cologne and the Carpe Diem director Fernando Asian.
